This English-speaking course is suitable for anyone who needs a creative hobby to brighten up their autumn evenings or who are interested in comics and how to make them.
The course is a logical next step for everyone who has finished the comics 101 course, but it is also beginner-friendly so you can start your comic hobby journey here.
This course is much more about finding your own creative voice as an creator than the technical details. The course includes short lectures on the theory and history of comics, but most of the time, we’ll draw and create in a supportive environment.
From the teacher, Kitty: “I think my students make the teaching groups so amazing. Their comics history is so versatile that it creates such an interesting atmosphere. Some read comics from niche genres to superhero comics, some only the occasional Donald the Duck magazine – and all are welcomed. Some already have experience in drawing comics but most students haven’t drawn since elementary school and they find new love for drawing and creating art during the course.”
